Exkursion zur Planai-Hochwurzen GmbH Schladming
Unsere Schwerpunktgruppe Englisch und Tourismus unternahm am 10. Oktober 2016 einen spannenden Besuch zum regionalen Vorzeigebetrieb Planai-Hochwurzen.
On 10th October 2016, our specialist group, “English for Tourism”, paid an exciting visit to the leading regional company “Planai-Hochwurzen”. In a seminar room, complete with a view onto the world-renowned Planai finishing line, we were given a general introduction to the firm’s activities by their Marketing Manager, Mag Markus Zeiringer – all in perfect English!
There followed an hour-long guided tour, including a walk through the cable car ground station. The high-light of our visit was a climb up the stairway to Schladming’s new landmark, “The Skygate”, and a behind the scenes look at the VIP lounge.
The whole group, including Mrs Karin Strimitzer (project leader) and Mrs Jenny Moore (Native Speaker), were very impressed by their short, but fruitful educational trip. The children showed their gratitude with a huge “Thankyou” and then made their way back to school.
